Chiropractic Action Step for TODAY!

Updated: November 22, 2010
Dear Doctors and Staff,
Don't let Congress drive Chiropractors out of business! Unless Congress acts by November 31, 2010, Chiropractors who adjust Medicare patients will see their pay cut by 25 percent!
We all received the Medicare CD from our carriers with our fees for 2011.
Over 10 years ago Congress created a flawed system to pay Medicare doctors.  Because Congress has failed to fix it, Medicare cannot pay doctors what it costs to care for seniors.  If Congress fails to act now, our fees will be so low that we can not afford to see Medicare patients, and we can not opt out of Medicare.
We must act NOW!  As Congress begins their "Lame Duck" legislative session, call your Representatives and Senators TODAY and tell them to keep Chiropractors in Medicare and support the Medicare bill to keep our present fees. Without action prior to December 1, 2010, Chiropractors will face a 25% Medicare payment cut that will do major damage to both the consumer and Chiropractors.
